Damasec Global Group at DALO Industry Days 2026

DALO Industry Days 2026 once again proved why it has become one of the most important meeting places for the Danish and international defence industry. The event brought together armed forces, government agencies, defence manufacturers, technology providers, and industry partners to discuss future capabilities, strengthen existing relationships, and explore new opportunities for cooperation.

This year, Damasec Global Group participated with an expanded presence from a 90 m² outdoor exhibition stand, bringing together a strong team of international partners and technology providers representing a broad range of capabilities within defence, security, force protection, EOD, infrastructure protection, and specialist military equipment.

Our stand served as a platform for dialogue, demonstrations, knowledge sharing, and business development. Throughout the event, we welcomed representatives from the Danish Armed Forces, NATO-related organisations, government authorities, industry partners, and international delegations interested in learning more about emerging technologies and operational solutions.

A key objective for Damasec was to demonstrate how strong partnerships create stronger solutions. Together with our partners, we showcased technologies and capabilities supporting defence, security, force protection, infrastructure resilience, unmanned systems, specialist equipment, and operational support solutions. The event provided an excellent opportunity to present proven technologies while discussing future requirements and challenges facing the defence sector.

Ammunition clearance in Sweden – seen over more than a decade

Since 2013, Damasec Mine Action Systems has been a leading player in ammunition clearance in Sweden, having completed more than 40 projects, both large and small. With a strong presence and a long series of successful projects, we have contributed to creating safe environments, promoting the development of new business areas, and removing unexploded ordnance (UXO) and other explosives from land and forest areas. Our work in Sweden is characterized by high quality, efficiency, and a deep understanding of international regulations in the field (IMAS). We have worked for both the Fortifikationsverket and a wide range of Swedish municipalities. Here is a selection of the larger projects Damasec Mine Action Systems has completed.

Falun training and shooting range (2013-14)

During the period 2013-14, we carried out extensive clearance of the Falun training and shooting range, which was previously a shooting and training area. The area was sold to the municipality for city expansion and the construction of a new business area. A major challenge was that half of the area had been used as a dumping ground for slag from the Falu Mine, making normal search and clearance difficult. We therefore decided to clear the affected areas mechanically using armored excavators and sorting plants. The result was the clearance of 27 hectares, where we found 295 UXO and 2000-3000 significant ammunition parts.

Näsby training and shooting range, Kristianstad (2014, 2015, 2016, 2019)

During the period 2014-2019, we carried out several clearance projects at the Näsby training and shooting range in connection with the construction of a new raw water pipeline and city expansion. The southern part of the area was declared a Natura2000 area, which imposed restrictions on excavation. We cleared about 6-8 hectares and found 10-15 UXO and over 70 significant ammunition parts.

Frösö shooting range, Bynäset Östersund (2016 & 2017)

In 2016 and 2017, we carried out a risk-reducing surface search of the Frösö shooting range, which was previously a shooting area for both aircraft and artillery. The island is a popular hiking area, and there was a desire to create a safe walking path around the entire island. We cleared about 28 hectares and found 588 UXO and 500-600 significant ammunition parts.

Slätten/Klockarängens shooting range, Örebro (2020)

In 2020, we cleared part of the former shooting range Slätten/Klockarängens shooting range due to the Fortifikationsverket’s desire to build a new depot area. The area was divided and fenced into smaller areas, which resulted in significant contamination of deeply buried barbed wire, which gives the same metallic signal on our equipment as a UXO. There were also archaeologically protected areas that limited the possibility of excavating for UXO. We cleared 260,334 m² and found 186 UXO and 4000-6000 significant ammunition parts.

Bulid training and shooting range, Uddevalla (2020)

In 2020, we carried out a risk-reducing surface clearance and technical investigation of the Bulid training and shooting range in connection with the decommissioning of part of the shooting area. The area was forested and only accessible via limited hiking trails. We cleared 311,287 m² and found 40 UXO and 2000-3000 significant ammunition parts.

Rosersberg training and shooting range, Rosersberg (2020)

In 2020, we carried out extensive search and clearance of the Rosersberg training and shooting range in connection with the construction of a pipeline through the decommissioned shooting area. We cleared 65,494 m² in three layers of 80 cm and found 18 UXO and 200-300 significant ammunition parts.

Kungsbäcks training and shooting range, Gävle (2023)

In 2023, we carried out a risk-reducing surface search of the Kungsbäcks training and shooting range, which was previously a training and shooting area. The municipality wanted to start subdividing and building a new business area, but there were concerns about the risks associated with wildfires and the danger of explosions from surface-near UXO. We carried out a surface-near clearance in a buffer area to ensure that fire personnel could fight a wildfire without the risk of explosions. The result was a risk reduction of 345,104 m², where we found 581 UXO and 8000-11000 significant ammunition parts.

Explosive storage in Älvdalen Municipality (2023)

In April 2023, Damasec Mine Action Systems carried out a specialized task in Älvdalen Municipality, Sweden. The task involved opening two old explosive storage units, also known as explosive chests, which required a high degree of expertise and especially safety. Our team worked closely with local authorities to ensure that all safety protocols were followed and that both chests were opened and the contents destroyed.

Damasec Global Group participates in Danish Air Show 2026

On 13 September 2026, Damasec Global Group will participate in Danish Air Show, where visitors will have the opportunity to experience some of the latest technologies in drones, physical security, and operational solutions. You can find us at Stand 54 in the Future Rundbuehaller hangar, where we, together with our partner Future Rundbuehaller, look forward to welcoming customers, business partners, and other interested visitors.

At the stand, visitors will have the opportunity to meet experts in modern drone capabilities and gain insight into solutions currently being used in both civilian and operational environments. Among the highlights are the renowned SHARK-M and PD2E drones from one of Ukraine’s leading drone manufacturers. Visitors will also be able to learn more about command and control systems, training concepts, simulator solutions, and the operational experience that supports the development and application of these technologies.

We are sharing the stand with Future Rundbuehaller, a Danish specialist company with extensive experience in the design, production, and construction of steel buildings and hangar facilities. The company delivers solutions ranging from smaller storage and operational buildings to large aircraft hangars, maintenance facilities, and other purpose-built structures where functionality, reliability, and flexibility are essential. Their experience in creating robust infrastructure for aviation, defence, and emergency response organisations makes them a natural partner in projects where buildings and infrastructure must support complex operational requirements.

For Damasec, participating in Danish Air Show is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate how modern physical security solutions are increasingly integrated with new technologies. Effective protection is no longer limited to fences, gates, and access control. Damasec Showcasing at ReBuild Ukraine 4.0 in Warsaw, Poland

Damasec is participating in the ReBuild Ukraine 4.0 event in Warsaw, Poland, with a focus on highlighting its specialized Mine Action Services and advanced defense equipment. Organized by Danish Industry (DI) and Rebuild Ukraine, this event brings together international stakeholders dedicated to supporting Ukraine’s reconstruction.

Mine Action Services play a critical role in ensuring safe, UXO- (unexploded ordnance) and landmine-free areas, essential for Ukraine’s redevelopment. As Ukraine is now one of the world’s most contaminated countries in terms of ERW (explosive remnants of war), clearing these areas is vital for safely rebuilding cities and restoring farmland for agriculture. With extensive experience in post-conflict zones, Damasec is presenting its comprehensive approach to UXO and landmine clearance and disposal, addressing one of Ukraine’s most urgent safety challenges.

Additionally, Damasec is introducing its advanced defense equipment lineup, featuring technologies designed to bolster Ukraine’s security infrastructure with a strong focus on operator safety. Damasec Selected as Supplier for the Prestigious “Fordonshinder 2024” Framework Agreement

Damasec is proud to have been chosen as a supplier under ADDA’s framework agreement “Fordonshinder 2024,” which will run from October 2024 to October 2028.

ADDA is a Swedish procurement organization that supports the public sector in achieving cost-effective purchases and framework agreements. They specialize in offering strategic services in procurement, legal advice, and development, enabling municipalities, regions, and state organizations to manage their resources efficiently. Their mission is to streamline operations and promote sustainability in public procurement. Damasec was selected across all five product categories after a competitive and thorough tender process.

The framework agreement covers five key categories:
1. Automatic bollards
2. Automatic security solutions beyond bollards, such as automatic barriers and similar systems
3. Fixed bollards
4. Fixed security solutions beyond bollards, such as planters, benches, and bike racks that provide protection in larger public spaces
5. Temporary/movable security solutions for rent or purchase for events and Christmas markets

Each of these categories ensures the protection of public spaces and infrastructure. Damasec’s ability to deliver across all five categories demonstrates its extensive expertise and product capacity, offering reliable security solutions.

Damasec has already supplied products under the previous “Fordonshinder 2020” agreement, including automatic and fixed bollards for projects in Kalmar, Stockholm, and Gothenburg, as well as temporary security barriers for Malmö.

Damasec Behind the Discovery of Grenades at Amager Fælled

The Danish Armed Forces Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Unit safely disposed of six unexploded grenades at Amager Fælled yesterday following their discovery during a clearance operation carried out by Damasec Mine Action Systems.

The operation attracted public attention after several Danish media outlets reported that the grenades would be detonated under controlled conditions. Due to weather conditions at the time of the disposal, the detonation generated a significant noise impact in the surrounding area. To ensure public safety, a security zone with a radius of approximately 700 metres was established during the operation.

The grenades were discovered by Damasec specialists as part of ongoing clearance activities in the area. The findings highlight the importance of professional unexploded ordnance (UXO) surveys and clearance operations in locations with a history of military activity.

The munitions are believed to date back to either the Second World War or subsequent military training activities conducted in the area. Amager Fælled served as a military training ground between 1943 and 1984, and remnants of historical military activity can still be found beneath the surface today.

The discovery serves as a reminder that historic military areas may continue to present potential risks many decades after active use has ceased. Through systematic investigation, risk assessment, and clearance operations, these hazards can be identified and safely managed before they pose a danger to the public, construction projects, or environmental activities.

Following last year’s cancellation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ENGAGE Festival returned in 2021, bringing together veterans, serving personnel, families, friends, and supporters in a celebration of community, recognition, and shared experiences.

Damasec is proud to once again support ENGAGE Festival and the Danish Veteran Foundation, continuing a partnership that reflects our longstanding commitment to the men and women who have served on behalf of Denmark. Having previously supported the festival in 2019, we were pleased to contribute once again to this year’s events in both Copenhagen and Skive.

The 2021 festival opened in the beautiful surroundings of Kastellet in Copenhagen, where visitors enjoyed a day filled with music, activities, and opportunities to reconnect with friends, colleagues, and fellow veterans. The event provided a positive and welcoming environment for veterans and their families while raising awareness of the important work carried out by the Danish Veteran Foundation.

Damasec Physical Protection Systems and Envytech are proud to have been awarded positions in four of the five categories under the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SKL), now ADDA, Vehicle Barriers Framework Agreement 2020.

The framework agreement, with an estimated value of SEK 635 million over a 2+2-year period, supports municipalities, public authorities, and other public sector organisations across Sweden in the procurement of vehicle mitigation and perimeter protection solutions.
