AS & E's SmartCheck system is the most effective way to screen for hidden items that are hidden under a person's clothing.

It is more efficient than standard metal detectors, because it detects both metallic and nonmetallic objects such as guns and knives, plastic explosives, composite weapons, drugs and other hidden items. The easily interpretable backscatter image gives the operator a view of where the item is hidden, thus eliminating the need for offensive and time consuming body searches.

SmartCheck system is safe for all who are involved and it comply with all relevant precautions for personal scanning.
An optional "Privacy Filter 'makes the photos less revealing of screened persons as it hides the intimate details, but still effectively reveals threats.
